Remember how back in December 2018, desi girl Priyanka Chopra took over our Instagram feed with the gorgeous pictures from her extravagant wedding with American singer Nick Jonas?
The songwriter also took our breaths away when he sported an Indian attire for their Hindu wedding at the lavish Umaid Bhavan. Not to forget Priyanka’s dreamy white wedding gown she walked down the aisle in for their Christian wedding.
Soon after their wedding, the ‘Fashion’ actor officially changed her name to Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Everything was going smooth until Mrs Jonas decided to remove ‘Jonas’ from her name saying that ‘there is a first time for everything.’
Then came a turmoil of rumours speculating trouble in paradise. Desis went gaga over this change which probably wasn’t a big deal for the couple.
But in old fashioned desi style, people started panicking. Overthinking was at its peak as people even started reasoning why Priyanka might have removed ‘Jonas’ from her name and probably decided to call it splits from the American actor.

Well, hold your horses and stop adding fuel to fire, people. Amid all this confusion, mommy Madhu Chopra clarified, “It’s all rubbish, don’t spread rumours,” reported News18.
One of PeeCee’s close friends in Mumbai also told Times Of India, “Don’t believe these baseless rumours” maintaining that social media followers have developed a tendency to overthink.
