We have come across many inspirational stories of kind-hearted Mumbaikars coming together to help and support people in need. For instance, people donated Rs. 2 lakhs to aid a vegetable vendor weeping helplessly amid Mumbai floods, or how people online raised Rs. 1.5 lakh for a Mumbai woman who warned commuters of an open manhole.
A Desi Redditor came up with a positive list of why he finds the city of Mumbai beautiful and what makes it so special, supposedly in response to another Reddit thread that came up with a negative list of the city. Check it out:-

From catching buses and trains you observe all kinds of people and people are always rushing to catch their seats but even during this time (even when they are extremely tired because they have just come back from their college or their job) they will get up when they see an old person, you will find people with earphones plugged in wondering what type of music they are listening to.
2. Yes maybe marine drive is overrated but it’s beautiful and nothing can ever beat the feeling of sitting with your friends there.
3. Mumbai will always open its heart and soul to you.
4. People mind their own business but they are there to help.
5. C’mon we aren’t just defined by vada – pavs, We have everything with a special twist in it. Have you ever tried the “Mumbai sandwich”?
6. The rain. Nothing can ever even come close to the rain in Mumbai and Mumbaikars are always so jolly. Each year the rain comes and goes but Mumbaikars will always go head-on with a smile.
