Mumbai Bus Driver & Conductor Halt To Fill Massive Pothole After Experiencing Severe Jerk

The incessant rainfall and deteriorating road quality often makes our commute painful during monsoons. The overflowing manholes and unmanaged sewage system add to the misery. This is why a woman had to stand in the pouring rain to warn commuters of an open manhole. We are, alas, habituated to dodging the potholes on Indian roads.

However, this BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) bus driver and its conductor decided not to turn a blind eye to this grave danger. According to Times Of India, when a bus driver and its conductor experienced severe jerk due to a huge pothole while plying on the Mulund-Bhandup route, they decided to take charge and filled up the hole with sand.

Well, this isn’t the first time that locals took proactive initiatives to fix potholes and avert road accidents. Earlier, two Mangalore schoolgirls compelled authorities to fix roads by moonwalking on potholes. A Rajkot man also buried himself in a pothole to protest bad roads during CM’s visit.

But even after initiatives like #PotholeChallenge2019, the municipal corporation seems to have failed to safeguard roads in Mumbai for commuters. What do you think? Tell us.
