Love is a beautiful feeling. Isn’t it? The butterflies in the stomach, the excitement to meet that person. The way your eyes shine when you are with that person and the way you can be yourself with them. Love has a different definition for everyone but what remains prevalent is everyone wants to have a fascinating love story.
We all desire of having a perfect love story. The story of how we met, how we instantly clicked and how we decided to get married. Frankly, we have no control over it because, at the end, it is all play of the universe. And one particular man definitely can’t deny the power of the universe or can we say WhatsApp?
Michael Evangelou sent a message to his other number as a reminder on WhatsApp. But the message was received by his future wife Lina Dahlbeck. (Universe, it was you right?). Lisa told the Independent,
Evangelou from London sent a message, which read “Girls Trip”, as a reminder(to himself) to see a film at the cinema. The recipient happened to be Lina Dahlbeck, 37, from Morden in south London, who sent a reply saying,
“Hi! Girls trip? Who’s this, please? I’m guessing this was intended for another Lina”.
But before they knew what happened, they were meeting!
And so after chatting non-stop for four hours(WOW!), they decided to meet for drinks. (Oh, Universe! It was definitely you).
“We were convinced it was fate that had brought us together. We were talking about our dreams and I said I had always wanted to live in Dubai.”
To this our lucky man Michael proposed that they shift and move in together. Lisa explained that as per Dubai laws, they have to be married to do so. It was not at all a hint. But..
Michael said, “Let’s do it then. Let’s get married.” (Yep, you read that right. They walked down the aisle)
The couple is now happily married and lives in Dubai where Lisa is pursuing her dream.
Lina, talking about their modern-day fairy-tale romance, said,
Yes, Mrs Evangelou. It was the universe. It is because of this and many other stories (Yes, there are many!), that we still keep looking for the right one. And we should never stop the search.
Dear ladies, don’t give up the hope and dear misters, take some lessons from Michael (but don’t be a creep too).
