Malaika Arora Says She’d Rather Be Known As ‘Sexy & Spicy’ Than ‘Pheeki & Thandi’

Malaika Arora is definitely a role model for many moms and a lot of youngsters owing to the strict fitness routine that makes her look ravishing at the age of 48.

The mom of a 19-year-old man also takes pride in being called the fitness diva and prefers being referred to as ‘sexy’ than ‘thandi’. Reacting to being tagged ‘sexy’, she divulged, “My God, I really held on to that tag! I’m not letting go anytime soon. It’s like, when you bestow somebody a title, or a crown or something, you hang on to it forever. So, I guess, I’ve just hung on to this tag.”

“It sounds repetitive, but I’ve always said that I’d rather be known as sexy and spicy and all of that, than being known as pheeki (plain) and thandi (bland). I like that and I’ve always been known like that. I’m a very feisty person by nature, so honestly, it’s not a conscious thing. Because I’ve been termed as, you know, ‘oh she’s sexy’ that I’ve to live up to that standard.”

“I do not believe in that. I just feel it’s part and parcel of the person that I am,” Zee News quoted her saying.

The ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ fame might look perfect and enthusiastic every day, but she also has her days when she feels low, reported Hindustan Times. Talking about it, she said, “15 days of the month at my peak, the other 15 days I am struggling because all women are going through some hormonal… whatever. I feel bloated, I feel low and like I am not at my optimum.”

However, she is also sometimes trolled for her visible stretch marks and age lines. Speaking of staying comfortable in her own skin and dealing with insecurities, the ‘Bichhoo’ actor said, “If I am trolled because I have stretch marks so be it.”

“People have far deeper insecurities in life. I have my own share. For every gray hair, I feel I gain more wisdom, more stability, more love, more happiness. My grey hair are testimony that each year will be a bigger and better year for me.”

Malaika today has crores of fans who religiously follow her fitness guideline and want to attain a body like hers. She earlier said that she likes being an ‘object of desire’.

But what does she mean with ‘pheeki’ and ‘thandi’? Is she referring to those who don’t have a ‘perfect’ body like hers or who aren’t as glam as her? Doesn’t sound cool to us. What do you think?
