Ever since the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from the movie ‘Pathaan’ was released, people went berserk. While some were offended by the color of Deepika’s bikini, others were irked by her sensual dance moves.
And even though both Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika ATE with their romancing in the song, people showed their sexist side by slamming her for being so sexy.
But this retired IPS officer went above and beyond to showcase how corrupted his mind is. Taking to Twitter, the former director of CBI, M. Nageswara Rao IPS, shared zoomed-in pictures of Deepika’s body parts from the song that offended him.
On top of that, he wrote that how could her husband allow this ‘public molestation’ for some money.
This is exactly the reason and the root cause of our society being so prejudiced and sexist toward women. Firstly, by sharing zoomed-in pictures of a woman you are reflecting your flawed mindset. Secondly, you still do not get that women do not need their husbands’ permission to wear any kind of clothes or for any other life choices.
This tweet came as a shocker to many online who decided to give him a reality check. Take a look:
Tweet in a real bad taste Mr. Rao
It’s a movie. She’s an actress. I am sure you understand what is consent.

What kind of an IPS officer circulates a bunch of zoomed in shots of another man’s wife for a few RTs. Just asking.

What kind of aunties allow their husbands to zoom in so much to ogle at other women??

1. She consented to these shots (not that you’d understand consent). It’s not molestation. What you’re doing in this post, can however, be in the purview of harassment.
2. Ranveer is not answersble for Deepika’s choices and the vice versa.— Sophie (@zenaniganss) December 15, 2022
What kind of nation allows or tolerates such perverted minds to run Govt agencies?

“What kind of a wife allows her husband to take such zoomed in screenhots, make a collage and post them with a terrible caption on social media?” 🤔

I am always astonished that before putting out such regressive views, in this case, which promotes patriarchy and shows women as the inferior gender who have to take permission from men, do people like him not look at their own stature in the society? https://t.co/ohMlYGxTTU

There is something called consent. It's work. On screen. So it's not molestation. She is an acclaimed actor and has her own agency. Her husband does not pervade it. That's how any man should be. But what do you know about women's agency and consent.
Sit down. https://t.co/K64V7NKaVn— Paromita Bardoloi (@Paromitabardolo) December 16, 2022
“Allows” – Deepika is not Ranveer’s property to start with. Neither is she getting molested 🤡 She is an actor doing her job! Just like all the other actors and actresses do. The misogyny and then they act to be tolerant 🤡🤢 https://t.co/dEYuTF9DsU

Why is it so difficult for such misogynistic men to understand that women are adults who can make life choices and getting married to someone doesn’t make them answerable to their husbands for every decision they make? And this zooming in and ogling at other women is just pathetic!
