Swami Swaroopananda Thinks Honeymoon Goers Were The Reason For Kedarnath Floods Of 2013

If there’s one thing in India that goes unchecked and despite several previous blatantly vulgar shows of it, hasn’t been banned it’s stupidity. Stupidity has no limits in India, but that’s a talk for later.

Right now, we have a more pressing matter at hand, and that is Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati’s recent, intelligent statement on how honeymoon goers were the cause of the flash floods in Kedarnath in 2013 that killed nearly 5000 piligrims.

Now that brings us to our next question: Who the fuck goes for a honeymoon to Kedarnath?

But that’s not all. Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, who is the Shankaracharya of Dwaraka-Sharda Peeth has been famous for imparting knowledge previously as well, and recently too when he said women entering Shani Shignapur temple invite rape.

He also added, “People coming from different parts of the country to holy places of Devbhoomi (Uttarakhand) for enjoyment, picnic and honeymoon led to the Kedarnath disaster. Similar incidents could happen if unholy activities are not stopped.”

Now that Swamiji has made such a statement, we thought it would be helpful on our part to validate his point with a theory as to why this could be happening:
