Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly have always been the best of friends both on and off the cricket field and are the biggest reason why people worship cricket in India. Not just that, I believe, their role in taking Indian cricket to great heights has been instrumental.
The ‘Prince of Calcutta’ is a part of Sachin’s Blasters and will take on Warne’s Warriors in a series of three T20 matches in the USA starting this week.
Now, the sport of cricket is getting ready to make its pitch to American fans of bats and balls.
What is ‘Cricket All Stars 2015’?
‘Cricket All Stars 2015’ series, organized by Tendulkar and Warne, will bring together 28 of the biggest names of the game in some of America’s most iconic baseball stadiums.
Recently, Dada had fired a ‘threat’ to Sachin Tendulkar. This is what he said:
Shortly after, Sachin Tendulkar tweeted a light-hearted response:
Dada your application for the opener’s position is being processed!Hope the off drive is coming from the sweet spot @T20AllStars @ShaneWarne

Well, he never ever fails to amuse us with his out-of-the-box tweets.
In case, you wanted to know the team composition of Sachin’s Blasters:
Batsmen: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Matthew Hayden, Mahela Jayawardene, Jacques Kallis, Jonty Rhodes, VVS Laxman
Wicketkeeper: Kumar Sangakkara
Bowlers: Shaun Pollock, Courtney Walsh, Curtly Ambrose, Lance Klusener, Ajit Agarkar, Graeme Swann

So, the question is, will it be Sachin-Hayden or Sachin-Sourav?
That reminds me, Hayden cannot play the textbook-style classy straight drive like Sachin and neither can he hit a straight six over the left-arm spinner’s head like the Bengal southpaw.
Only Tendulkar and Ganguly can do this. Aal Izz Well.
