It’s a special day for Indian cricket fans today. Why? Because it’s the Master Blaster’s birthday of course! And with Sachin widely regarded as the God of Cricket, this day is practically a festival for us. We miss bearing witness to him performing pure magic on the field so much that we rejoice at any sight of him holding a bat. Remember when he took part in some gully cricket at Dayaldas Road this month? Such a treat!
Bearing this in mind, it should come as no surprise to the ill-informed that we do not take lightly to any dig at Sachin.
Cricket Australia, however, did not consider this when they tweeted this video clip to wish the former Australian pace bowler Damien Fleming, who shares the same birthday as Sachin.
Some @bowlologist gold from the man himself – happy birthday, Damien Fleming! pic.twitter.com/YcoYA8GNOD

The video shows the Aussie pacer getting Sachin out clean bowled with an inswinger in an ODI in Perth during the 2000 Carlton & United Series.
Their cheeky tweet obviously failed to impress the Indian fans. And hell hath no fury like a Sachin fan scorned!
1. Sudhar jao!
No matter how many bans, Australians will never change…😁
On Sachin's Birthday you are posting a video how Damien Fleming bowled him. Couldn't you find another batsman instead of Sachin? #HappyBirthdaySachin

5. It’s a gentleman’s game guys, come on!
speaks volumes about the shame you bring to the gentleman's game. no wonder players are involved in unfair practices .

7. Is a little tact too much to ask?
Why did you ban @stevesmith49 and @davidwarner31 ??
They had more grace than you!
Sorry to stereotype – but it's not surprising coming from the Aussie board!
Entire world knows who's the boss!
Get a life!

8. Some fans took the tweet sportingly enough.

What’s funny however is that the 48-year-old Damien Fleming is currently in India, enjoying his commentating stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.
We showed him some love and were the privileged lot to bring it in with him here @StarSportsIndia for the #IPL2018 on #GamePlan 🇮🇳😁 pic.twitter.com/Olo9Iq7z2p

See Australia? That’s how we Indians do it. Watch and learn boys.
Anyways, a very happy birthday to both the Master Blaster and Damien Fleming! Have a solid year legends.
