During quarantine, some pet owners are sharing how happy their dogs are that their hoomans are always home, some are playing tic-tac-toe with their cats while others are treating their furry babies as co-workers.
Ireland-based Caitlin O’Connor, however, decided to dye her dog Ted green to mark his first birthday and capture her mother’s reaction to the new hue. Here’s what happened:

Mirror UK quoted her saying,
“I’ve seen people dye their dogs green before and I thought it would be a good idea to dye him green. My mother idolizes my dog and treats Ted like a human so I knew she would react crazy if I did it behind her back. I did it in the bathroom upstairs while she was doing dinner because I knew she wouldn’t come upstairs. It’s a semi-permanent dye safe for dogs so it lasts for 10 washes.”
Mail Online quoted her mother Caroline saying,
“I was in shock. I did not have a clue that it was happening. She planned the whole thing. My reaction was speechless. I couldn’t speak, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe that she did it. I find it hilarious, it’s safe dye and it was fine. I always said my children could be creative and express themselves freely but I think they took it a bit too far.”
Some people thought it was cruel while others saw the humour in the situation by comparing Ted to the Grinch & Shrek.
Bahhahahahahah she’s fuming
