India is a country where we idolise celebrities from every work of life. Thankfully, most of those times, that admiration from fans comes from a very special place in their heart. As Yuvraj Singh has played a ton of blistering innings for the Indian Men’s Cricket Team, he surely has a lot of admirers who wants to play like him. However, as his battle with cancer is equally inspirational, there are a lot of people who look up to him for his resilience. And one such fan had the lucky chance of meeting Yuvraj in person.
Recently, the official Twitter handle of Kings XI Punjab posted Yuvraj Singh’s meeting with Rocky, a young cancer patient, who’s also a big fan of his batting prowess.
Yuvraj is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with a form of lung cancer back in 2012, right after he brought the World Cup home for India. Following that, he made a comeback and is now actively playing for Kings XI Punjab. That’s why there’s no better person than Yuvraj who can give advice to Rocky on how to stay strong mentally while the doctors do their job.
This sweet gesture by Yuvraj Singh was appreciated by his fans who also wished for Rocky’s speedy recovery.

Yuvraj Singh has done a lot to spread awareness regarding cancer. His foundation YouWeCan has expanded via start-ups to reach out to more and more cancer warriors and survivors. In addition to all that, seeing him have a heart-to-heart with Rocky is truly endearing. We hope Rocky beats cancer’s ass and comes to play for the Indian Cricket Team.
