YouTuber PewDiePie Mocks Ekta Kapoor’s Internet Meltdown And His Fans Are Loving It

Unless you’ve been living under a rock with a TV that airs only seasons of ‘Naagin’, you’ll know that producer Ekta Kapoor and YouTuber PewDiePie had a fallout. No, I’m not making any of this up. It happened after the internet star posted a tweet featuring a video that happened to be from Ekta’s ‘Kasam Se’. And it triggered Ekta Kapoor to a great extent.

Ekta went on a Twitter rant that was as dramatic as her serials. From calling PewDie a ‘firang junior artist’ from Colaba to saying that he’s a racist for mocking Rajnikanth, she had a complete internet meltdown. However, as soon as the Swede came to know about this, he made a little video dedicated to Ekta. And by “soon” I mean after 21 days.

PewDiePie recently uploaded a video addressing the whole situation between him and Ekta Kapoor, and then went on to prove how pointless her rant was.

“She went on a big Twitter rant because I said ‘good quality’. ‘Good quality’ was referencing the bad quality of the YouTube video that someone else had re-uploaded. It had nothing to do with you. I don’t know who you are.”

So, yes. PewDiePie was talking about a YouTube video that was uploaded in low quality, that happened to be a video of Ekta’s show. He wasn’t actually talking about the quality of the show because he doesn’t know anything about it. Which unfortunately means that Ekta (or is it ‘Ekita’ now?) was acting out because she was guilty conscious.

As soon as word of PewDiePie’s video reached Ekta’s ears, she hastily replied on Twitter.

I’ll let you make sense of that.

Fans obviously found the whole situation to be hilarious and they reacted in kind.

1. Ouch!

2. Is this the real life?

3. Pewd’s winning this game by a huge margin.

TV shows, movies and every other form of entertainment is always open to criticism. So, it’d be much more sensible to take those criticism’s (or in this case, make sure it’s a criticism) in one’s stride or simply respond in an equally critical manner. There’s no fun in lashing out wildly as no one comes out wiser in that situation.
