Lilly Singh has come very far from being just a YouTuber. She has become a global bi-sexual icon over the years. She has made history by becoming one of the first female late night show hosts. And now she has come to give us desis some much needed revamps of old Bollywood songs.
Lilly Singh loves Bollywood songs and she loves to rap. So, she decided to bring those two worlds together to create what can only be described as magic.
Her first victim was ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’, which she transformed into a rap about self-love and a giant middle-finger to Fair & Lovely. Then she took on ‘All Izz Well’, which became a song about mental health. And finally, she explored her own bi-sexuality with ‘Aankh Maarey’, set against the backdrop of a basketball which was reminiscent of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
Check out the music video here:
Lilly’s fans were ecstatic after watching the video and showed no restraint while expressing their love for her.

It's hard to make a song that people can pop their booties to. It's even harder to write a song that educates, inspires, and uplifts people and @IISuperwomanII you managed to do all of the above in one 5 min video. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!! ❤❤ https://t.co/jWlWk0m0SF

Most of the famous Bollywood songs were written during an era when heterosexuality was the norm and talking about mental health was considered a taboo. But we as a society have come a long way from that period. So, it’s great to see Lilly giving them a much-needed update.
