Honey Singh’s Songs Are Used By Farmers In Uttarakhand To Scare Wild Animals Away. ROFL.

Yo Yo Honey Singh makes some good music. No, no before you judge me and get your arms out to kill me, hear me out. I say his music is good because his music has many utilities. Such as:

– Making drunk people dance
– Getting the crowd out of a club who refuse to leave the dance floor
– Annoying your friends on a long drive

And now a startling discovery has led to a brand new use of this acclaimed rapper’s music.

I swear I am not making this us up.

According to a recent report published in TOI, people in Uttarakhand are using this music to chase away wild boars who destroy their crops. They tried a lot of popular methods, but none of them were as successful as this one.

Speaking to TOI, Bishan Jantwal (48), a farmer at Dhari village of Nainital district, said, “I used to hear from elders in the house that wild animals avoid places where there is a human habitat. I thought of playing music to let them know of human presence. And it has worked.”

He is very happy that this method is proving out to be successful in chasing these wild creatures away.

When Bishan suggested the idea to other farmers in the area, they were apprehensive at first. However, when they noticed that the idea resulted in some unbelievable results, they soon adapted it themselves.

Another farmer from Taadikhet, Sangram Bisht, said, “The idea is hit across the region and we are grateful to Bishan for sharing it with us. Now we will be able to feed our families at least.”

The sound of loud music and human voices give the wild animals an idea that this is a well-habituated land and fearing their life they do not attack these areas. Therefore, the crops are protected and the villagers don’t mind the music either.

Huge loudspeakers are established at several points in the villages with popular Yo Yo Honey Singh tracks. They often switch to other Punjabi tracks and bhajans for a change.

See, there, I told you his music has some good utility.

Psst- I just hope the boars don’t start enjoying the music and start coming to the farms just to know if the latest tracks are out.
