Yami Gautam Shares Video Detailing How She Was Transformed As A Ghost For ‘Bhoot Police’

Actors often undergo extensive transformation to slip into a certain character. Lara Dutta was unrecognizable as former PM Indira Gandhi for ‘Bell Bottom’. And this time around it is Yami Gautam who spoke of transforming her look using makeup to resemble a ghost for her next movie.

“It wasn’t easy as it took 3 hours for me to get into this look and 45 mins to get out of it, each day, shooting bare feet & with cable work, throughout the chilly nights in Himachal,” she confessed.

She reveals that she’d had a neck injury at the time and yoga helped her heal.

“Despite my neck injury, I wanted to do everything myself, and my Yoga practice helped me to achieve it to a great extent. Although, I wish I could take some professional training but the pandemic restrictions made it impossible at that time. I did whatever best I could on the set! These are a part of the challenges that come along with the profession I love so much! ❤️ And I will do it again and again!” she declared.

Take a look-

Upon the release of her movie ‘Bhoot Police’, Yami took to Twitter to call out a publication for only highlighting the names of male actors in their article’s headline when they reviewed the movie. Her complaint was that neither she nor her co-star Jacqueline Fernandez were mentioned.
