I’m sure you try your best to ensure it is strong and secure. Because in this digital age, almost everything is password protected. E-mails, bank accounts, smartphones, laptops and even social media profiles. Having said that, a lot of people STILL use some of the worst passwords. Like 0000 and 666666. I am not kidding guys. It’s true.

Software company SplashData studied 5 million leaked passcodes on the Internet. They did it to make a list of the dumbest, most terrible ones of 2018. And the results will surprise you.

The company CEO Morgan Slain had this to say:

People are doing exactly what they’re not supposed to do, like using their own names or celebrity names (like the president of the United States) as predictable passwords.

SplashData recommends that everyone have separate passwords for different websites. In such a scenario, if one gets hacked, the rest do not follow suit.
