If you’ve ever followed the pre-production process of blockbuster movies, you’ll know that there’s an entire team of people building costumes. However, cosplayers do it all on their own and often do a much better job than professional costume designers. Case in point, Alyson Tabbitha.
Now, since Gal Gadot is currently the face of Wonder Woman and an icon that people look up to, cosplayers try to emulate her appearance and the power that she exudes. And all of them do a damn good job. But I think we’ve found someone who can give everyone (including Gal) a run for their money for the role of Diana Prince.
Cosplayer, whose Twitter handle is @LisWonder1, posted a photo of herself dressed as Wonder Woman. And her resemblance to Gal Gadot is simply uncanny.
After a lot of hard work and dedication here is my cosplay of Wonder Woman. I hope you @GalGadot and @PattyJenks notice, as they are a true inspiration to me & to many women/men. If I wouldn’t have told you that that’s a cosplayer, I’m pretty you would’ve lived the rest of your life (or at least till 2020) knowing that this was a still from Wonder Woman 1984.
Netizens, and especially DC fans, were blown away by the Wonder Woman cosplay and lauded her for her attention to detail. Here are some of the reactions.
Wait, you're NOT Gal? pic.twitter.com/iHiVd4Q1nI

Wow that is mental. I was sure you were Gal Gadot. Also, I am now in love with you.

Amazing; you and Gal are pretty much twins. The resemblance is unbelievable pic.twitter.com/5pK0XslYiC

No matter how many times I see you cosplaying Wonder Woman, I am still amazed. You’re not only Gal’s twin but you capture the spirit of the character like she does. It’s in your eyes! Simply amazing!!

the ONLY reason I figured out you weren’t Gal was because I was staring at the belt and bracers trying to see if it was foam or not because the bodice looks like metal. (fellow cosplayer here)😂 you look amazing! pic.twitter.com/5NjanQm2LN

Take a look at some of the other Wonder Woman cosplays she has done, that features the various iterations of the super-heroine’s suits:
There’s no doubt that Gal Gadot is going be the cinematic version of Wonder Woman for a long time. However, since there’s no TV version of the Amazonian warrior yet, Lis can take a shot at it. As shows like ‘Arrow’, ‘Flash’ and ‘Superwoman’ are starting to crossover with each other, she might become a fan-favourite addition to the ever-growing roster of superheroes.
