Women Online Reveal Biggest Realizations & Regrets They’ve Had After They Turned 30

After having a whirlwind-like 20s, I’ve finally stepped into my 30s, and it is the most calming thing that has happened to me. It’s like there was a shift – that angst, petulance, anxiety, and heaviness of my 20s felt like it was finally lifted off my shoulders. 30s are more steady. I’m more sure about a lot more things, I can take a step back, reevaluate and start again with a fresh perspective.

I say this because, in your 30s, you keep on having crucial realizations – like how you weren’t stuck in an abusive relationship; you could have just gone out of it. Or how you didn’t really need to shoulder too many responsibilities or work extra long hours to earn an extra bit of money. As you age, you shed bits and bits of what society expected you to be and reveal what you truly, intrinsically are as a person.
