Julie Felton of Ellesmere, Shropshire, in the United Kingdom is a unique record holder. According toĀ the Guinness World Record, she has the worldās largest feet among females with aĀ UK men’s size 15 feet ( size 15.5 in the USA and 49.5 in Europe.)
However, while having your name in the Guinness book is something to boast about, for Felton, it is rather problematic. Needless to say, theĀ 6 feet 5 inches tall woman finds it almost impossible to grab a pair of shoes that fits her size.
And with her wedding day inching closer, she had very few options left. But her better half, Steve, had different ideas. In a bid to see the love of her life walk comfortably down theĀ aisle, heĀ contacted the British shoe company Rainbow Club to make a custom shoe for her for the ceremony on April 20.
And guess what? Much to Felton’s joy, Rainbow ClubĀ designed an ivory satin Mary Jane-style flat, which featured crystal embellishments at the toe! Describing the shoes, a jubilant Felton termed them the most beautiful pair of shoes she has ever owned.
Julie Felton started facing problems in getting shoes from a very young age. As an infant, she wore the size 6 when the average wore 2. Speaking about her struggles she said,
āIt would be really nice one day to walk into a shoe shop and just pick a pair off the shelf and try them on.ā
