You’ll never know what real stress feels like until you’re on a plane and have to go to the toilet real bad, but the plane is preparing for take-off and you’re asked to be seated. So imagine the plight of this woman who wasn’t allowed to go to the airplane toilet for over 2 hours!
According to a report by Mirror Online, a 26-year-old woman who was flying from Bogota, Columbia, to Dublin was refused to visit the toilet by the cabin crew for two hours because the plane had an “emergency” for which it was delayed.
For 2 hours, the airplane was on a standstill but every time the woman got up to go to the toilet, she was “aggressively” refused by the cabin crew and asked to go back to her seat. Even though she explained to the crew that she might have an “accident” if not allowed inside the toilet, the crew stay put.
And then, unable to control herself, she peed herself on her seat. Embarrassed by the accident, she was forced to sit on her own urine for 7 hours till the plane landed in Toronto for a layover.
According to News18, the woman was searching for the cabin crew before leaving the plane to complain about their treatment towards her. However, she alleged that they hid behind the plane. She later had to rent a room in a hotel in Toronto to take a bath and wear fresh clothes.
When she got in touch with Air Canada, the airlines she was flying with, they gave her free vouchers. The woman went on to slam them and said that vouchers weren’t enough compensation for the kind of humiliation she had to go through.
We hope nobody ever has to face similar circumstances. This kind of behavior is unacceptable!
