Woman Licks Ice Cream Before Putting It Back On Store Shelf, Leaves The Internet Furious!

Who doesn’t love ice-cream? But what’s to come will make every ice-cream lover cringed out. A now-viral video on Twitter showed a woman licking an ice-cream tub from a store, and then putting it back in the freezer.

The video was posted by the user @BlindDensetsu on Twitter, with the caption, “What kinda psychopathic behavior is this?!”

We can clearly see a woman holding a half-gallon tub of the ‘Tin-Roof’ flavour ice-cream of the company. She licks the ice-cream off the top and them puts the lid back on the tub. Then she placed it in the freezer storage and just walks away.

The video elicited reactions prompted by anger and disgust. The video soon went viral and also came to the knowledge of Blue Bell Creameries. They reacted saying,

This was just the beginning of more such shameful acts. Twitter user @GAYSHAWNMENDES, is seen opening an ice-cream tub. He eats it before passing it to his friend, who was filming. He then haphazardly puts it back in the storage before moving on.

Even Satan (with his Twitter handle @s8n) disapproves of his video.

Blue Bell is currently working with law enforcement and retail stores to find the woman, who tampered its ice-cream tub. The woman in the video has been identified to hail from Lufkin, Texas and the State police has been taking actions regarding product tampering.

In a statement given to USA TODAY, Lufkin Police Department wrote,

“Tampering with a consumer product is a second-degree felony and carries a punishment range of 2-20 years. The department is consulting with the FDA and federal charges may also be pending.”

The company is also being questioned over poor packaging of the products—specifically, it’s lack of a protective seal. However, the company insists that the packaging procedure makes any tampering detectable to customers. They reportedly said,

“During production, our half gallons are flipped upside down and sent to a hardening room where the ice cream freezes to create a natural seal,” the statement continued. “The lids are frozen tightly to the carton. Any attempt at opening the product should be noticeable.”

For now, Both the company and the Lufkin Police are looking for the woman in the initial video and the Netizens hope that they find her and make her pay for this felony.
