A Gurugram based embryologist befriended Vipin, a resident of Arifpur Kheri village on Facebook four years back. They gradually became good friends over the years and Vipin requested the woman to meet him. April 17, Pacific Mall, Gurugram was decided as the meeting place and date by both of them.
The 28-year-old woman, has, however, alleged that she was abducted from outside the mall by Vipin and two of his friends at gunpoint. She told police that they first took her to Baraut-based shooting range where they made her dance semi-naked.
She also alleged that she was later on taken to Vipin’s home in Baghpat where she was forced to drink some intoxicated drink. Vipin along with his friends then took turns to rape her, the woman said in her statement, reported TOI.
The woman approached Baghpat police station near Meerut to file an FIR against her Facebook friend Vipin Tomar and his friends Ashish Balyan, Taranjit and Amit Munjal.
According to the FIR, the victim claimed that she had to ‘face physical torture for full night only to be released the following day after which she was driven back to Pacific Mall to be abandoned with a demand of 30 lakh rupees.’
Police have arrested two of the accused, Vipin and Ashish already. They have assured that the rest of them will be soon caught.
