Some couples get married right after getting engaged while others have a gap that may be months or even years long. It all depends on what they have mutually decided. But what if the two partners aren’t on the same page? Things are bound to go sideways, right?
That is what seemed to have happened at a Target store in Las Vegas. A two-part video has gone viral where a woman wearing a bridal dress can be seen giving her fiance (who works at the store) an ultimatum. The Independent quotes her saying,
“You put this ring on my finger two years ago and its time to do it or get out. We’re getting married right now or I’m leaving. I’m out. I’m done. I’ve brought a pastor, I’ve brought Emily, she’s my bridesmaid.”
Thereafter, the man in question asks her if they can speak outside and appears to say, “Could someone had told me then?”
According to Mail Online, it is unclear what transpired after the couple left the store. Whether the entire incident was real or staged is also unconfirmed. However, that didn’t stop Twitter from reacting to the bizarre event.
Some people suggested that the woman break it off if the man doesn’t want to commit and others advised the man to run away as her behaviour was a red flag.
This is the goofiest shit I’ve ever seen in my life. If you gotta show up to a man’s job in a Dillard’s dress trying to MAKE him marry you on the spot or else you’re leaving him, that man does not want to marry you.

No red flags here, everything appears to be normal…. carry on #CrazyTrain

😳She seems nice
Very normal thing to go to your fiance’s job and demand to get married or get out
Perfectly healthy communication

Honey if you got to pull this stunt rolling up on someone’s job dragging the pastor and bridesmaid in tow, then baby girl you got your answer. Have some pride, carry yourself home and get out that dress. Next, find something productive to do and keep it pushing!

Points for wearing masks especially with all that bridal makeup.

Uh, the “mom” in me would pull the girl aside and say, “honey he’s not worth the money you spent. Give back the ring and go live your life.”

Ick. For everyone involved. Why would you want to force someone into marrying you and also why would you marry someone who tried to force you. Everyone needs to disperse.
