Woman Explains How Korean & Hindi Have A Lot In Common In Fun Video

Hindi and Korean.

While these two languages sound nothing like each other and seemingly have absolutely zero similarities, they actually have more in common than you think!

In a video that was shared by a woman who is known as ‘Korean G1’ on Instagram, we get to know of the many similar words that have the same meaning in both Korean and Hindi. ‘Korean G1’ is a well-known influencer who loves Indian culture as a whole.

Through the video, we learn of 5 words – year, tea, broom, hell, and sticky – that sound the same in both languages and have the same meaning.

For example, in Hindi we say “ek saal, do saal, teen saal” and in Korean they say “un saal, two saal, three saal”. In Hindi we say ‘Chai’ and in Korean they say ‘Cha’. “Chai piyenge?” in Korean is “Cha masialle?”

Isn’t it wonderful to see these two languages having so much in common? 😀
