Bengal Woman Distributes Leftover Food From Brother’s Wedding To Needy At Railway Station

Weddings in India often mean months of planning, days of song and dance, scores of guests, and an elaborate food menu. However, this million-dollar industry is also responsible for wasting a huge amount of food.

However, with awareness and penalties involved, people have become a little conscious and are taking effective measures to tackle this problem. Setting the right example, an aware citizen from West Bengal took all the leftover food from her brother’s wedding reception to the railway station and distributed it among the poor and needy, reported Republic World.
