In India, many of us have grown up watching movies and television serials that gave us the idea that the relationship between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law is always rocky. One of the two is evil, making life miserable for the other. Even though that might be the case for many mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law, that’s not the case with all of them.
For example, a woman named Vinita Sharma took to Instagram to share a fun video where she is seen energetically dancing to the song ‘Lat Lag Gayee’ in front of her mother-in-law Savitri while she is busy working in the kitchen.
“I choose to be myself and they choose me the way I am. Blessed to have such cool parents and family,” Vinita wrote in the caption.
At one point in the video, Vinita goes to her mother-in-law and performs some thumkas right beside her. The elderly woman is seen enjoying Vinita’s dance rather than making her stop or making snide remarks about it. This is so refreshing to watch! 😀
