Many fresh college graduates searching for jobs online are approached by recruiters offering positions as assistants or secretaries for top company professionals. However, these job descriptions often include demands for sexual favours. This issue is prevalent worldwide, including in third-world countries like India and Pakistan.
A woman named Adina Hira took to X to share screenshots of a conversation she had with a recruiter who offered her the position of personal assistant. However, the recruiter, upon asking for a detailed description of the job, mentioned that there would be sexual favours involved.
“Being a girl in Pakistan is too difficult! I applied for a job on the Indeed website, which was for fresh graduates, and this is the message I received. It’s unbelievable!! Who knows how many innocent girls they must have taken advantage of,” Adina wrote.
Have a look at the screenshots here:
Notice how the recruiter is very hush-hush at first to mention the sexual favours? When Adina found out about it, she abused and blocked the recruiter.
This is not an isolated incident. There are other companies recruiting personal assistants who are to provide sexual favours to their bosses.

Several people slammed this practice and asked the woman to call the company out on LinkedIn so that awareness spread about these practices. Such exploitation takes advantage of young graduates’ desperation for employment, putting them in compromising and unethical situations.
Also call them out on LinkedIn, get support of community so we can warn others.

I’m so sorry you had gone through this but if someone starts msging you on WhatsApp it’s a clear trap and don’t fall for it… block it there and then… do not get engage with that person… it’s highly unprofessional. If someone wants to know either communication should be done…

Good job taking the first step exposing the criminal employer. Now take it further and post their address and the names of the individuals who are involved. Most girls don’t take this step in Pakistan, India and in third world countries. So nice job once again. Every girl must…

This is absolutely disgusting. If he’s demanding sexual favors so casually from employees, one can only wonder what he’s done to others who are already working for him.
He cannot be in power.

They clearly mentioned special tasks so better to ignore these kind of positions if you’re not interested, Its so sad to see most peoples prefer these kind of jobs because they don’t want to do anything else… Good to see you are speaking about this

We need strict regulations and awareness to protect vulnerable job seekers from these predatory practices.
