Although we don’t need a designated day to appreciate those who have helped shape our lives, today holds a special significance.
It’s that time of the year when we appreciate and acknowledge those who have educated and empowered us. Who made us the person we are today and taught us important life lessons. Who were there to solve all our issues and continue to be our best friends, guide and mentors.
Technically in India, the birth date of the second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 5 September 1888, has been celebrated as Teacher’s Day since 1962 to commemorate the Indian statesman and philosopher. But the day holds a very different significance in a millennial’s life because today because we can acknowledge our favourite teachers.
