Ever since the pandemic started, people are coming up with bizarre ways to get rid of the virus. Some believe that worshipping ‘Corona Devi’ will shoo the virus away while a few others think that chanting ‘Go Corona Go’ will do the trick!
In addition to the list, a Pakistani politician believes that if we sleep, coronavirus also sleeps and if we die, the virus dies with us! According to Times Now, Fazal-ur-Rahman, who was a member of the Pakistan National Assembly for two decades, was caught on video saying these bizarre words:
“The more you sleep, your virus will also sleep and it won’t be able to harm you. Hence, it sleeps when you sleep and it also dies when we die.”
Because science gaya tel lene!
The video was posted by a journalist in Pakistan, Naila Inayat. Watch the video here:

It is a little concerning when people of power and influence let out misleading information like this. We hope logic and reason of people take precedence over such kind of tomfoolery!
