After Potterheads dreamed up a Harry Potter themed engagement, a Kerala couple’s Chemistry inspired wedding invite created a buzz. Even Shashi Tharoor commented on its ingenuity. Now it is a couple in Surat that is making waves for a quirky wedding invite.
When Surat-based web-designer Chintan Desai got engaged to Arzoo, the duo vowed to make a quirky and intriguingly offbeat wedding card. Well, what says millennial more than WhatsApp? So a WhatsApp themed card it was!
The wedding invite has a yellow cover with the words, “Unlock invitation”. The display picture is couple’s and the “status” of the wedding invite reads, “You are obligated to attend our wedding else you will be blocked on WhatsApp”. Take a closer look-

“In place of the WhatsApp logo, we used Ganesh Ji’s photo, which gives a traditional touch to our invitation,” says the bride-to-be.
The four-page card was meticulously made by Chintan and it took over seven days to design it. The chivalrous bloke credits his fiance for the idea.
In fact, even the parents of the bride and groom quite like the renegade invite. According to NDTV, Chintan’s father Pradip Desai shared-
“We have to keep up with the new generation. When they showed me the card, I really liked it, so approved it.”
The exciting invites already have social media in a tizzy. Well, Chintan and Arzoo’s big day is set in February and we wish them lots of luck and love!
