Gujarat Man Designs Sustainable Wedding Card That Can Be Reused As Bird Homes, See Pics

Seems like conceptualizing eye-catching, out-of-the-box invitation cards for weddings have become a trend in the current times. But sadly, how much ever the paper/plastic cards cost or creative they are, most of them end up going into the dump.

After a lawyer couple designed a ‘constitution-themed’ wedding card, a man from Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district came up with a magnificent idea of getting an invitation card printed that can be later reused as homes for sparrows and other similar small birds.

Yes, this brilliant idea was the brainchild of Shivabhai Ravjibhai Gohil who decided on this card for his kids’ wedding. Gohil was throwing a combined wedding ceremony for both his son and daughter who are bird lovers and have several birds in their home. The dad along with his son Jayesh conceptualized the sustainable card and got it printed at a local cards store.

“Shivabhai Ravjibhai Gohil (Village-Uchedi District-Bhavnagar) got his son and daughter’s wedding invite printed on a sparrow nest. Shivabhai called me and asked where did the wedding kankotri (card) can be printed with a sparrow home? I asked him to print it in Rajkot Quick Graphik. Millions of congratulations to Shivabhai for this commendable work for nature and birds.”

All the wedding invitees along with people online were thrilled to see the unique and multipurpose wedding card.

Earlier, a Kerala couple came up with a ‘Chemistry’ wedding card. I remember receiving a wedding card that could later be used as a photo frame.

Applause to Gohil and his kids for coming up with such a thoughtful wedding invite.
