2 Shoplifters Wore Hollowed Out Watermelons As Masks & Posed For Pics Before The Theft

Burglars and shoplifters have been coming up with out-of-the-box ideas to successfully execute their larceny plan. Earlier a thief used a fishing rod to steal a Versace necklace. We also saw a thief dancing before breaking into a shop in Delhi.

Now, two shoplifters were seen using watermelons to ‘hide’ from the public eye while they committed the crime.

According to NDTV, the ‘melon head’ thieves were filmed while robbing a convenience store in Virginia, US. The duo was seen arriving at a convenience store wearing hollowed-out watermelons with eye holes. Louisa Police Department shared pictures of them taken moments before they entered the store.

Their idea to disguise themselves failed miserably and the two managed to grab a lot of eyeballs. Someone online also highlighted how they posed for a photograph for him on the same day when they looted the convenience store.
