Video: Woman Casually Opens Emergency Exit & Walks On Plane’s Wing Because She Felt ‘Hot’

Some people inspire us with their discipline and strength like the video of a monk walking up a mountain without any ropes, which left us in awe. Whereas, some people scare us with their carelessness, like this girl walking dangerously on the outer ledge of a skyscraper. Another bizarre incident has surfaced which left us scratching our heads.

As per a report in The Irish Sun, the Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) confirmed that a female passenger and a mum-of-two on the Boeing 737-86N “opened the emergency exit and went on to its wing” through the emergency exit after complaining that she is ‘too hot’ inside the commercial flight and needed to ‘get some air’. This is moments after they landed at Ukraine’s capital Kiev from Turkish resort city Antalya.

In the video, she can be seen strolling casually along the plane’s wing and eventually climbing back inside the cabin safely to rejoin other passengers. Reportedly, she was traveling with her husband and two kids as they were on a family holiday before the new school term started.

Recounting the incident, a fellow passenger said, “The aircraft landed and almost all the passengers got off. She walked almost all the way from the tail to the emergency exit row, opened the door, and went out. By that time her two children were outside the plane and standing right next to me. They were surprised, saying, ‘that’s our mum!’”

Upon witnessing the scene, the pilot summoned the Boryspil Airport’s border guards, the police, and also an ambulance.

Times Now reports that the airlines have now “blacklisted” the mum for gross violation of aviation safety rules and behavior onboard.” Tests showed that she was neither drunk nor on drugs.

The UIA also carried out an official statement adding further complete details of the incident saying, “A passenger of flight PS6212 Antalya-Kyiv illegally opened the emergency exit of the plane after it stopped near gate 11 of terminal D and went on to its win. The passenger was flying on a charter vacation with her husband and children. The chief pilot immediately summoned the aviation security, border service, police, and medical center of Boryspil Airport.” The police and doctors currently haven’t got “an adequate response” for the breach, as per them.
