A lot of music lovers have lost their appetite for Bollywood remixes but they are still being made. The latest one is a remix of ‘Deedar De’ originally from the film ‘Dus’ composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani and voiced by Sunidhi Chauhan.
The new version features in the film ‘Chhalaang’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrratt Bharuccha. According to Hindustan Times, it is sung by Asees Kaur and Dev Negi and lyrics by Panchhi Jalonvi.
The remix has received a lot of flak online and some people are blaming Vishal & Shekhar for destroying their own song.
They made a remix of Deedar De dude I need a personal apology for this shit.

Dear @VishalDadlani & @ShekharRavjiani you guys destroyed one of the best Vishal & Shekhar song yourselves. The original had better music, better lyrics and better singers. @SunidhiChauhan5 @K_K_Pal #DeedarDe

The music composers have replied to the criticism saying that they are not associated with the new version in any capacity. Vishal also tweeted in support of a user who called for a boycott of remixes.
We have been very kindly credited here, only because we composed the original #DeedaarDe in 2004.
However, we haven't done this "remix". 🙏🏽
That said, best wishes to the film and team. Thanks for loving our music down the years. #VishalandShekhar @ShekharRavjiani https://t.co/7KyJo6eSDP

Here’s the original track featuring Mayte Garcia.
We’re deleting the memory of the remix by listening to the OG song, are you?
