Friends Throw ‘Virtual Sangeet’ For Couple Amid Lockdown; Watch Video

An Indian wedding is a grand affair filled with tons of fun ceremonies and celebrations. From dance parties to the Mehandi function, a desi wedding is nothing short of magical. However, the #21daylockdown has sabotaged many wedding plans.

So, while some couples are getting married on a video call, others are waiting for the lockdown to end. And, one such couple to postpone their wedding is Delhi-based Gazal Bawa and Hemant Virmani, reports Indian Express. However, despite the unexpected change of plans, their friends surprised them with a ‘Virtual Sangeet Party’.

Have a look at the entire virtual sangeet celebration:

In the fun video, several of their friends can be seen dancing to the beats of popular Punjabi tracks.

“We were very shocked and surprised because there were like some 35 friends from all over the world who were a part of this. It was overwhelming and we just feel so happy and so blessed that we have these people in our lives,” the bride-to-be was quoted saying.

Many people were impressed by their friends’ extraordinary sangeet celebrations:
