How Virat Kohli Earned ₹173.5 Cr In One Year To Become The World’s 100th Highest-Paid Athlete!

And on Tuesday, Kohli ranked among the Forbes list of highest-paid athletes with reported annual earnings worth $25 million (nearly Rs 173.5 Crores). However, the Indian number 18 dropped 17 places to grab the 100th spot after being placed 89th and 83rd in the previous editions respectively.

And guess what? Even though he sat at the rock bottom of the list, he was the only Indian to have earned a spot.

Now, if you are trying to figure out the source of his mammoth yearly income, let us make it easy for you. Kohli, being one of the most popular faces in the country, has 25 brands under his belt which include the likes of Tissot, MRF, Manyavar and Audi. It has been reported that $21 million (almost Rs 147 Crores) of the 30-year-old’s earnings have come from endorsement deals.

The remaining $4 million (around Rs 26.5 Crores) comes from the captain’s salary and victories on the 22 yards.
