IPL 2020 fans have not shied away from sharing hilarious memes online, whether it is on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) who won their maiden IPL match after a 3-year jinx, or Krunal Pandya’s ‘bored’ expression while batting against Rajasthan Royals.
This time, the memes are on skipper Virat Kohli’s animated reactions on the cricket field. As per a report in News18, he won the toss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) yesterday and decided to bat first. RCB did have a decent start, with an opening stand of 67between Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal, but nevertheless, boundaries and maximums weren’t coming so easily for the team.
RCB captain Kohli came out to bat in the 8th over of the first innings after Padikkal’s departure. He went on to display his prime form by hitting quick singles and doubles, keeping Finch on his toes and the scoreboard ticking. But he still couldn’t find boundaries during the course of the match.
It took him 25 deliveries to hit his first four of the night, in the 19th over which was bowled by Prasidh Krishna. Kohli let out his feelings and celebrated in his characteristic style, even as the boundary came off as a thick edge.

On the other hand, AB de Villiers who is also known as Mr 360, left everyone speechless with his amazing run-rate and performance which unsettled KKR’s bowling attack. He hit a 33-ball 73 that included 5 boundaries and 6 sixes, leading his team to a score of 194/2.

KKR was no match when it came to their batting and was handed a comprehensive defeat of 82 runs.
