Even after centuries of overtly sexualising, fantasizing, and objectifying the female breasts, women can still vouch for the fact that they aren’t really that big a deal! They get too much attention, even setting a particular bar for beauty standards. But just to put it out there, it’s not what’s on the outside (which is literally nothing but fat) that should be amusing. It’s what on the inside which is the real deal!
A particular user on Twitter recently posted a picture of the muscular anatomy of the female breasts and it has taken the internet by storm.
Most of us, including women, never really bothered to do some research on how the muscular structure of the breasts look like.
So when user @lemonadead shared an image of how it looks like on the inside with milk ducts and everything, people got the shock of their lives!

At first I thought someone put flowers over boobs because art. Now, it looks like a weird alien creature lives inside my body and I'm terrified.

This reminds me of those nail tip wheels they show you in the salon. This is deeply distressing. pic.twitter.com/hCKWnk1qsX

Maybe it’s only freaking people out because it’s not normalized because of the patriarchy showing us a man’s biology in class.

Okay…abit scary at first but then they kind of look like flowers covering the muscle. I think it's pretty.🌻 Love it! …Also this explains a lot 😩

This just makes me realise how all the biology books we studied in school only contained pictures of the male body structure. The female body structure being a hush-hush topic never really did get a chance to be normalised, unlike its male counterpart.
Thanks to social media, we learnt something new today! Now we just have to find a way to deal with this because this still makes me cringe…
