It’s a scary world out there!
Living peacefully used to be less traumatic a few decades ago. Now a days, people get paranoid about their safety.
Mexico’s Citizens’ Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice released a list of 50 most dangerous cities of the world.
Astonishingly, 21 of the cities are from Brazil.
Venezuela’s capital city, Caracas, has topped this list. The ranking of the cities is based on the number of rankings per 1,00,000 inhabitants and it doesn’t include war zones into account.
So what’s the reason behind all the violence in these cities?
- Drug trafficking
- Unstable political conditions
- Deregulation of economies
- Gang wars

Latin America is home to 41 of the most violent cities of the world. Also the USA’s cities St Louis, Baltimore, Detroit and New Orleans also features here.
Isn’t that painful? Violence is the scourge of our society, but we can make a difference. We must educate ourselves about its influence and impact on our lives.
