Several people are stranded in different cities, struggling to acquire food and making every possible effort to reach their homes. It has turned our lives upside-down. But thankfully, there are people like Sonu Sood who are doing all they can to help their countrymen.

In the past few months, the actor has not only provided healthcare workers with a safe abode at his Mumbai hotel, but he is also arranging food to feed the migrant workers and is helping them reach their homes, amid the lockdown.

People online have extended their gratitude towards him for helping them in these tough times.

Now, celebrity chef Vikas Khanna has thanked Sonu for showing compassion and love towards the people, reports Hindustan Times.

Calling Sonu a real hero, Vikas said in a tweet that since he can’t cook for him RN, as a token of appreciation for his work, he has prepared a dish and named it ‘MOGA’, after Sonu’s native village.

The ‘Simmba’ actor was quick to acknowledge Vikas’s gesture and said his home town will be proud today.

Reports suggest that Sonu has been feeding more than 45,000 people every day in Mumbai’s Andheri, Juhu, Jogeshwari and Bandra area.
