It doesn’t matter what a person’s income is or how big their house is if they’re not rich of heart. During the lockdown, we saw migrant workers walking to their villages carrying their pets and an elderly beggar feeding stray dogs from his own plate. And a similar level of compassion can be seen in the video shared by IAS officer Priyanka Shukla.
A vegetable vendor selling fresh produce on the street is seen feeding a peacock with her hands. When asked about the trust the bird places in her, she replies saying that it comes every day and coos to tell her it’s hungry.
Priyanka Shukla (@PriyankaJShukla) August 7, 2020
People lauded her generosity and remarked that helping others gives us a sense of satisfaction that can’t be compared to anything else.
The definition of rich should be – "One who is very generous and wealthy from his/her heart ♥ ."

Thank you, ma’am, for showing us that anyone can help out someone (including birds and animals) in need regardless of their own situation.
