Veenu Paliwal, India’s Top Woman Biker Died In A Road Accident In Madhya Pradesh

India lost one of its supremely talented woman bikers today.

Veenu Paliwal, the 44-year-old top woman biker from Jaipur lost her life in a road mishap in Madhya Pradesh.

Veenu was on a nationwide tour on her Harley Davidson while the mishap took place. Her bike skidded off near a road in Gyaraspur, near a small district in Bhopal. Although she was wearing safety head gears, she succumbed to the injuries and was declared dead after being taken to the hospital.

Another biker, Dipesh Tanwar had also accompanied her for the nationwide tour.

 

The lady who was known to drive Harley Davidson at 180km/hr had many dreams and aspirations.

She wanted to make a documentary on her motorbike rides across the country.

She was also named as the Lady Of Harley, 2016.

 

The journey till here wasn’t easy. She had to fight prejudices and social norms which didn’t accept her as a biker.

She loved to ride bikes since her college days. When she got married, her husband didn’t want her to ride bikes and make a career out of it. She divorced him and continued following her passion.

 

People were saddened by her sudden demise and expressed their remorse on Twitter.
