Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan worked as an assistant director before he rose to fame with ‘Student Of The Year’. Today, he is among the country’s highest-paid celebrities. However, he wasn’t this lucky in his love life.
Recently, on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio show ‘What Women Want’, Varun revealed that he was rejected by his fashion designer girlfriend Natasha Dalal multiple times.
Remembering the time when he first saw Natasha in school, the ‘Judwaa 2’ actor said, “I still remember, we went to Maneckji Cooper, she was in the yellow house and I was in the red house. It was on the basketball court. So, in the lunch break, in the canteen, they give you food and an energy drink. I remember her walking, I remember seeing her, and actually, when I saw her that day, I felt like I fell in love with her. That was it,” Hindustan Times quoted him saying.
He added, “The first time I met Natasha was in the sixth standard. We have not been dating since then. We were friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. We were very close friends.”
Varun shared that it was much later that they both started dating each other. “She rejected me three-four times. I didn’t give up hope,” he admitted.
Natasha can often be seen accompanying Varun, be it on a public outing or with his family during festivities.
