When it comes to a match between neighboring countries India and Pakistan, even you would agree that it brings the worst out of cricket lovers in both countries. People often tend to lose their calm and indulge in mudslinging and spreading hatred against each other.
And dare you lose the game! Fans would lose sight of all the good name the players have brought to the country and troll them left, right, and center and not even spare their families.
Recently, Indian skipper Virat Kohli became the target of trolls after India lost to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2021 opener.

People were even more enraged after Kohli came in support of his fellow teammate Mohammed Shami and called out those who picked on Shami post India’s 10-wicket loss to Pakistan.
Calling the trolls ‘spineless’ and the incident ‘unfortunate’, Kohli said:
“There’s a good reason why we are playing on the field and not some bunch of spineless people on social media that have no courage to actually speak to any individual in person. They hide behind their identities and go after people through social media, making fun of people and that has become a social entertainment in today’s world, which is so unfortunate and so sad to see,” reported The Indian Express.
Obviously, this didn’t go down well with some people online who then brought Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s 10-year-old daughter Vamika in the midst of this heat.

Insensitive remarks and abuses were hurled at and people didn’t even think twice before giving rape threats to the little one.
Kohli and Anushka’s 10-month-old daughter is getting rape threats because he decided to stand by his Muslim teammate, call out bigotry, and say discrimination on the basis of religion is wrong.
A 10-month-old child.
This is the India that we let happen.

The way some low life people are already trolling vamika shows the level of our country .
It's good that Virat-Anushka decided to keep her away from social media .— Yashvi (@ItsYashswiniR) October 31, 2021

Kohli is a nice man. He hurts us when he scores big against us. But we don’t hate him for that or for his religion. He correctly stood by his Muslim teammate. Indians, take pride you own such a wonderful player. Leave his family alone. Take out your anger on me instead.

Earlier, a class 12 student was detained by Gujarat cops for reportedly issuing rape threats to Dhoni’s daughter Ziva on his wife Sakshi Dhoni’s social media account.
Being in the limelight doesn’t always mean enjoying luxuries and living a perfect life. In fact, celebs are often on the receiving end of incessant trolling and hatred all because they choose to open up their lives to their fans and followers. And this is probably one of the reasons why celebs hesitate in introducing their kids to the world and some have already gone on a social media cleanse.
