Nothing haunts us more than all those embarrassing texts and emails that we’d rather no one saw but just happened to hit ‘Send’ on. Agree? And what makes it harder is the fact that people don’t just delete and get over it; they screenshot and save it and circulate it on social media for laugh! If you’ve done something embarrassing, you CANNOT catch a break these days, no sir!
Which is exactly what happened with this American state’s bar association when a rather… umm… ‘forward’ email was sent from their account to, say, pretty much the whole state!
A bulk email was sent from the official account of the Utah State Bar to all the lawyers in the state, containing a picture of a topless woman!

Uhoh! This does not look good! And I don’t mean the picture, because it definitely is aesthetically pleasing to look at. A little too much, actually.
The email was meant to be an advert for the Utah State Bar’s annual spring convention in St. George, with the image being an attachment. The Council issued a swift apology.
Apologies to all who received an inappropriate email from the Utah State Bar. We are aware of the situation and are investigating the matter.

According to Fox News, John Baldwin, the executive director of the Bar, dashed an email assuring that investigations were ongoing.
“We are horrified. We are investigating to discover how this occurred. Our goal is to find out what happened and insure [sic] it never happens again.”
As much as the Council wishes their embarrassment away, it is here to stay for a while, thanks to the screenshots of the email that are circulating on Twitter!
Lawyers all across Utah and on the internet are laughing a nice laugh at the Council’s expense.

2. Next time your boss scolds you for a mistake, show him this!
My Monday is actually looking fabulous by comparison to whoever just made this mistake https://t.co/tpcqcxOI4H

This sure spells oodles of embarrassment and damage control for the State Bar Council. They’re going to have to triple check their emails from hereon! As for now, someone is surely getting fired!
