Urvashi Rautela Copy-Pastes NY-Based Author’s Tweet About ‘Parasite’, He Hits Back

Copy-pasting things off the internet is something that we all are guilty of doing. It is the reason why most of us did well on our school projects and our relatives can send ‘forwards’ on WhatsApp. Sometimes we even copy-paste an author’s quote on Facebook to look smart and nobody bats an eye! But that’s rather difficult when you’re a celebrity and many eyes are on you.

Speaking of which, model-turned-actress Urvashi Rautela became the subject of social media trolling after she copy-pasted a Twitter-review of the Oscar-winning film ‘Parasite’, reports News18.

The original tweet was by an author from New York who goes by the name JP Brammer on Twitter. He went on to post pictures of the two tweets, his and Urvashi Rautela’s, side by side and wrote, “I’m rooting for her.”

Have a look at his tweet here:

In another tweet, he poked fun at her and wrote how Urvashi Rautela should have at least corrected his grammar mistakes before posting his tweet online.

As the tweet went viral, people online started doing some digging and found out that this isn’t the first time Rautela has copy-pasted other’s tweets/posts. She had previously copy-pasted a tweet by PM Modi and another Instagram post by model Gigi Hadid, reports DNA.

People on the internet didn’t hold back from trolling the actress! This is what they said:

Much is the weight of stardom…even simple acts like copy-pasting aren’t spared!
