While artificial beautification techniques can certainly boost your glam quotient, we often forget that they come with a bunch of side effects. And sometimes, the consequences of these risky methods turn out to be a bit too severe!
This brings us to the narration of a UK woman, who is suffering from the extreme reactions of a Botox treatment gone wrong.
Rachael Knappier took to Facebook to mention that she attended a Botox party in Leicester and was supposed to get a filler injection on her forehead. However, when her friend, who is a beautician, promised to fix a lump on her lip with an injection there, she did not refuse.
She had no idea whatsoever about what was going to happen next.
On returning home after taking the injection, she experienced pain. The pain increased tremendously with time and she pushed herself to the hospital. As far as her lips were concerned, they had swollen like a balloon!
Rachael Knappier’s lips tripled in size after she got fillers from a beautician at a botox party.
She’s now warning others about the dangers of getting cosmetic treatments from non-medical professionals.

According to News18, when she informed her beautician friend about the situation, she instructed her to put ice pack.
In a bid to highlight the risk associated with lip injections, she shared pictures of her affected lip on Facebook. Warning the others to stay away from such procedures, she mentioned that the injection injured a soft tissue in her lip, causing necrosis.
