Twitter Reacts To Pentagon’s Declassified UFO Videos With Alien Invasion Memes

Just when I thought 2020 couldn’t get any crazier, the United States Department of Defense officially released three declassified videos of “unidentified aerial phenomena.” The footage captured shows rapid movements of what appear to be unidentified flying objects (UFOs), reports NDTV.

The videos were taken by Navy pilots in 2004 and 2005. However, they were leaked by a private company in 2007 and 2017. The Pentagon decided to officially release the videos that were recorded by infrared cameras, reports CNN. They did so to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether the footage was real or not.

This startling piece of information gained hilarious reactions online. Several people made jokes about aliens and the UFOs:
