Uday Chopra came to Indian cinema when nepotism was not a word which was flung around everywhere. He tried to make a footing for himself in the industry and somewhat succeeded in this endeavour too. His roles in various films such as Mohabbatein, as the quirky Vicky, and more recently as Ali in the Dhoom franchise garnered a lot of praise from the audience, who wanted to see him pull off such funny characters in other films as well.
However, soon after Uday disappeared from the limelight, but he still continues to feed us little nuggets of entertainment and philosophy which blow our minds. He did something similar when he posted a quote about prayer not being enough to get the job done.
Makes a lot of sense, right? Not only for atheists and agnostics but also for people who place all their faith in God without realising that in order to achieve their dreams, they have to do 80 percent of the work themselves.
However, the Internet is full of people who are ready to take offence at the drop of a hat and needless to say, Uday was threatened over this post.
But… Uday was not one to take it lying down and made his followers aware of the close-mindedness of such trolls who take sadistic pleasure in sending hate comments to celebrities.
He seems to have actually deactivated/deleted his account after this. We think it is safe to say that this troll will be thinking twice before showing his face on Uday’s Instagram comments again!
