Woman Finds Uber Helicopter Is The Cheapest Ride To JFK Airport; Twitter Asks Her To Take It

Booking an affordable ride online seems like a difficult task these days. I mean, with all the taxes and additional cost and heavy surcharges, you can ‘literally’ fly to the place for a cheaper price.

No joke, you really can! A woman in New York, who was trying to get to John F Kennedy Airport, was shocked to see that the cheapest Uber ride available to her destination was a helicopter reports Times Now.

Nicolee Johnson took to Twitter to share the unbelievable prices to the airport from her house. While taking an UberX would have cost her $126.84(₹9000 approximately), she would have to pay $102.56(₹7250 approximately) for an Uber pool ride. The cheapest option available was the Uber Helicopter ride at $101.39(₹7200 approximately).

Uber launched its helicopter ride service almost six months ago. The Uber Copter started in New York City on July 9 between Lower Manhattan and the John F Kennedy Airport, reports CNBC.

However, a lot of people were confused and wondered why and how was the helicopter an option in the first place:
